Note:

1. Indian ordinary passport holders require a visa to enter Armenia, unless they qualify for a specific visa exemption.

2. Eligible Indian travellers can apply through the Armenia E-Visa system if they meet the applicable requirements.

3. For the e-Visa route, travel medical insurance is mandatory.

4. Applicants who do not qualify for the simplified e-Visa route may need an invitation, return-ticket reservation and proof of financial means.

5. The passport must be valid for the entire period of stay in Armenia.

6. The Armenian Embassy recommends applying for an E-Visa, where eligible. Its current India visa page states an e-Visa processing time of 3 working days.

7. Embassy applications may have a different processing timeline. The Embassy's FAQ currently states 10 working days for applications submitted through the Embassy.

8. Visa approval does not automatically guarantee entry into Armenia. Final admission is subject to Armenian border/immigration authorities.

9. Applicants should ensure that name, passport number, date of birth and other personal information exactly match the passport.

10.Visa fees are subject to the applicable Armenian consular fee schedule and may be non-refundable.

11. Invitation letters may need to come from an eligible Armenian party, such as a local tourism agency, university, employer or other Armenian entity.

12. Armenia currently has a temporary visa-exemption scheme from July 1, 2026 to July 1, 2027 for nationals of 111 countries who hold qualifying residence permits valid for at least six months from the          date of entry. Indian travellers who hold qualifying residence permits should check whether they meet this specific exemption before applying for a visa.
